Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is a street bike available in 2 variants and 8 colours. The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is powered by 160.3cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 17.03 bhp and a torque of 14.6 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Pulsar NS160 bike weighs 152 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.

The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 has been launched in the Indian market, and this TVS Apache RTR 160 4V rivalling motorcycle comes with improved hardware and rider safety. Let’s find out what’s new on the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160.

Similar to the 2023 Pulsar NS200, the latest iteration of the Pulsar NS160 comes with upside-down front forks instead of the conventional telescopic units on the previous motorcycle. Meanwhile, the suspension tasks at the back are still handled by a preload-adjustable monoshock. Furthermore, the company has improved the rider aids with the addition of a dual-channel ABS instead of a single-channel unit on the previous model. Also, similar to the Pulsar NS200, this 160cc motorcycle now comes with an updated instrument cluster that benefits from a gear position indicator, a distance-to-empty readout, real-time fuel economy, and average fuel economy. Meanwhile, the 2023 model retains features such as a halogen headlight, conventional turn indicators, backlit switchgear, and an LED taillight from its predecessor.

While the company has updated the hardware, the styling remains unaltered, and the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 continues to feature a single-pod headlight with twin DRLs, a muscular fuel tank, an engine cowl, split-style seats, a two-piece pillion grabrail, and an underbelly exhaust. While the styling is similar to the previous model, the newly added upside-down front forks give this 160cc motorcycle muscular aesthetics. Bajaj Auto has also introduced new colours and graphics to this motorcycle, and the palette now includes four options – Metallic Pearl White, Glossy Ebony Black, Satin Red, and Pewter Grey.

The mechanical specifications retain the 160.3cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that continues to deliver a maximum output of 17bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 14.6Nm at 7,250rpm. This motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. Bajaj Auto has added the necessary hardware to comply with the newest emission norms, and the 2023 Pulsar NS160 is now OBD2-ready.

The hardware on the motorcycle includes a perimeter frame, upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, a 300mm single disc at the front, and a 230mm single rotor at the back. It boasts a 12-litre fuel tank and tips the weighing scale at 152kg (kerb).

The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is available in a single variant and rivals the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Hero Xtreme 160R in the Indian market.
